Learning to drive doesn't stop after passing the learner test. We are always learning whenever we are driving on the roads. Unfortunately, without proper instruction and guidance, are we teaching ourselves to do things properly? Should we be doing things differently? Could each of us being driving in a safer way?

MSM driver training believes that through always challenging our own abilities and by seeking guidance and instruction on a regular basis, we could all become much better drivers. The roads could become a much safer place if we all take a little bit more responsibilty for the quality of our own driving. If you are interested to find out how good your driving really is or would like to find out how you could improve your driving skills, why not book a personal driver assessment?

After a brief practice drive in the MSM Ford Fiesta you will be asked to drive, without instruction, for 20-30 minutes. During this time your instructor will be marking your driving ability on the DRIVER ASSESSMENT form (shown right)

The form consists of 15 categories of basic road disciplines. You will be marked as SAFE or UNSAFE in each of these categories. There is also a space for the instructor to include any notes that may be appropriate.

After the assessed drive your instructor will discuss the outcome of the assessment. You are encouraged to take an active part in this discussion and any points raised will be discussed in detail.

To finish off the assessment, you will be given time to practice any points that the assessed drive raised and also to seek guidance on any points of your driving that you feel need improving.
